Sunday School at 9, Worship Service at 10
If you plan to visit us for the first time, we are excited to have you as our guest! Below are some things you might like to know.
When you arrive at Grassy Pond there are two parking lots. You can park anywhere, but the lot to the left (facing the front of the building) has Visitor spots marked in green, and reserved just for you! Enter the main sanctuary using the stairs or the wheelchair accessible ramp. Our aisles are also accessible.
Visiting a new church can be overwhelming. We have friendly GP Connect church members who will help you with anything you need. Look for the folks in the lobby with GP Connect name tags who are wearing a green lanyard around their neck. They are there just to answer your questions, give you directions, and help you get started.
Sunday School classes meet at 9am and study though a book of the Bible. There are 3 Women’s classes, 2 Men’s classes and 2 Co-ed classes. There are also many classes for children. You can try any classes you wish, so you can find one that makes you feel the most comfortable. Sunday School is a time to gather with a smaller group, though some of the classes are larger than others. Classes meet in various areas of the campus, with some classes on ramp level for those who cannot use stairs.
During a Worship Service
Songs, prayers, and the reading and teaching of Scripture are normally practiced each Sunday. In the back of the seats you will find songbooks, Bibles, giving envelopes, and visitor cards. If you do not have your own Bible, we invite you to pick one up from the table in the foyer of the church. It is our gift to you.
Children are very welcome! We have a nursery available for infants through 5K. Bring other children into the service with you. After the Children’s Sermon (near the beginning of the morning worship service), the children in 5K – 4th grade are taken out together to go to Children’s Church.
We also welcome children to stay for the full worship service, so please feel free to keep your children with you after the Children’s Sermon if you wish.
The attire in our church ranges from casual to suit and tie. You are welcome to dress according to your comfort.
