She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.

Sunday School

Get Connected. Go Deeper.

Sunday School classes meet each Sunday at 9. Adults use a textbook that covers a particular book in the Bible, and each quarter we begin a new book. Each week the teacher guides the class through one lesson from the current textbook, so you can jump in at any point. There are 3 Sunday School classes for women. Class size varies; some have 6-8 and others 20+. Pick the class that makes you most comfortable. Classes meet in various areas of the campus, with a class on ramp level for those who cannot use stairs.

The wisest of women builds her house, but folly with her own hands tears it down. – Proverbs 14:1

SASSIES

8:45 am Central Baptist Church

Sassies began in Joan McCraw’s beauty shop with a handful of ladies who wanted to pray for our local law enforcement. As they grew, they moved first to Grassy Pond Church and now to Central Baptist Church (for its more central location). Sassies welcomes women of all denominations and ages. They have taken on the role of assigning prayer warriors to all of our local law enforcement and public servants, and praying for all needs that are brought before them. They’re constantly amazed and blessed by seeing the hand of God in our community. Joan's daughter, Deedee Wall , now leads the Sassies.
On the 4th Monday in August, Sassies hosts a public servant’s breakfast. They also support the needs of the Cherokee County Detention Center and many other needs in the community. Call Joan McCraw for more information, or just meet us at Central Baptist Church.

Margaret Huskey Circle

The Margaret Huskey Circle is a group of women who love the Lord and are mission-minded. They believe serving others is serving the Lord Jesus Christ. They meet quarterly to fellowship, share devotions, and plan missions projects that help support the community and families in need.
