The Grassy Pond Student Ministry exists to build relationships so people would be saved and discipled through:
1. A Relationship with Christ
2. Discipleship in the family
3. Discipleship in the Church
4. Missions here and everywhere
1. A Relationship with Christ
2. Discipleship in the family
3. Discipleship in the Church
4. Missions here and everywhere
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:6

Sunday AM
Sunday school is a time of biblical exposition and teaching geared towards students' grade level as they are taught by our adult leaders through the Explore the Bible for Students Curriculum. There are both middle school and high school classes that meet in the Family Life Center above the gym! The middle school class is in A-211 and the high school class is in A-206

Sunday PM
Small Groups are intentional discipleship groups that happen weekly during the school year. They are predominantly adult-led and happen throughout the church campus! Each group includes about six students of similar age and up to two adult leaders, creating a space for authentic relationships and life-driven discipleship. Some groups use a curriculum, some create their own lessons, some review the sermon that morning. In the end, they all have one priority: to help students understand Christ and grow closer to him through studying the Bible as it applies to their life experiences. If you wish for your student to be part of a group, use the contact form at the bottom of the page to reach out to Daniel! From there, you will be told about your student's group, their leaders, where they are meeting, and what they are studying.

Wednesday PM
On Wednesday Nights after Prayer meeting, the students gather together for a large-group Bible study! We walk through the Bible books and topics as we seek to learn from, understand, and apply God's word. This is a time of worship, games, and a sermon that will help to ground your student midweek in scripture. Currently, the student ministry is going through the book of 1 John, learning about the letter's themes of assurance, truth, light, and love, as all are tied to the character of God. We hope that you will come join us each week as we meet in the youth room, above the gym in the Family Life Center.
SummerSalt Youth Camp
Jerusalem Project
Hearts on Fire

SummerSalt is a high-energy summer student camp for 6th-12th grade students, run by the Generations Group of the South Carolina Baptist Convention. It is a camp that is designed to grasp and captivate the next generation with the Gospel. Visit the SummerSalt website for more information. Coming in March.

In the Summer we team up with several other churches in Gaffney and have the week-long Jerusalem Project, serving our community. This is a great time for students to show what it means to serve people to the glory of God's kingdom as they come together to help in many service projects such as building ramps, painting walls, and hosting sports camps for kids.

Hearts on Fire is a weekend youth conference that we attend every fall in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This weekend is full of worship, big name speakers, and fellowship together as a student ministry.
