Sassies began in Joan McCraw’s beauty shop with a handful of ladies who wanted to pray for our local law-enforcement. As they grew they moved first to Grassy Pond Church and now to Central Baptist Church (for it’s more central location). Sassies welcomes women of all denominations and ages. They have taken on the role of assigning prayer warriors to all of our local law-enforcement and public servants, and praying for all needs that are brought before them. They’re constantly amazed and blessed by seeing the hand of God in our community.
On the 4th Monday in August, Sassies hosts a public servant’s breakfast. They also support the needs of the Cherokee County Detention Center, and many other needs in the community. Call Joan McCraw for more information, or just meet us at Central Baptist Church.
